Description
Pinguicula vulgaris, commonly known as the common butterwort. It typically reaches heights between 3 and 16cm and produces funnel-shaped purple flowers measuring 15mm or more. This butterwort thrives in moist habitats such as bogs and swamps, found at low to sub-alpine elevations.

- Light: Min 1 hour direct sun, max all day.
- Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
- Dormancy: A bulb will form below the soil surface in winter, reduce watering to half the normal tray level.
