Collection: Heliamphora - Sun Pitcher Plants

Sun Pitcher plants are commonly found in the Tepuis of the Guiana Highlands, sandstone mountains located in Venezuela, Guyana, and Brazil. These regions are known for their high levels of rainfall, with an annual average of 0.6 to 8.9 meters, making them a popular setting for "Lost World" stories.

Heliamphora plants have two types of leaves: juvenile and adult. Juvenile leaves are simple, tubular, and short, with colours ranging from red, pink, to orange. On the other hand, adult leaves are short cups or tubes with slightly swollen middles and a small slit in the front to maintain a consistent water level.
