Collection: Darlingtonia Californica - Cobra Lilies
Cobra Lilies grow in along cold water streams in the northern mountains of California and the Oregon coast in the USA. This evergreen perennial produces numerous runners that form dense colonies.
The carnivorous leaves are tall, hollow, twisting tubes with a forked tongue-like appendage hanging from the hood, giving the trap a cobra-like appearance. In full sun, they can develop a vibrant red color.
