Description
Pinguicula gypsicola is a strikingly beautiful yet geographically scarce Mexican butterwort confined to remote pockets around San Luis Potosí, making it a prized acquisition for discerning collectors. Cultivation demands precision: this species requires gypsum-rich or calcium-fortified substrate paired with balanced watering practices and robust air circulation to flourish. Its limited natural occurrence and exacting care protocols establish it as an ideal specimen for experienced growers ready to tackle one of the genus's most rewarding - and challenging - representatives.
