Description

Pinguicula caerulea, commonly known as blue-flowered butterwort or blue butterwort, is a carnivorous perennial native to the south-eastern United States. This distinctive plant features pale green, adhesive leaves that passively trap small insects, combined with striking violet-blue trumpet-shaped flowers. These plants are all seed grown and genetically unique.

  • Dormancy: Fast Growing annual, they can last a dew seasons if kept on the drier side through winter. Collect seed from successful pollinations and sow in spring.
