Description
Drosera oblanceolata, Endemic to Hong Kong's Sunset Peak, produces striking red foliage when cultivated under bright conditions. This sundew species ranks among the more straightforward to maintain, especially via the tray method with consistently elevated humidity levels. While temperature-sensitive, it demonstrates improved resilience to warmth when grown in humid environments, rendering it a visually striking yet relatively approachable option for experienced carnivorous plant collectors.
- Skill Level: Medium.
- Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max full sun.
- Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
- Humidity: Misting is beneficial.
- Temperature: Min 10°C.
- Dormancy: If they get too cold they may die back to their roots but they will come back up by Summer.
- Pot Size 10cm (0.75L).
