Nepenthes surigaoensis - Lowland Tropical Pitcher Plant

Nepenthes surigaoensis thrives in deeply shaded mountain environments, distinguished by exceptionally elongated tendrils extending up to 120 cm - among the longest within its genus. Its coarse orange hairs and cylindrical lower pitchers, positioned remotely from the main stem via its extended tendrils, reflect its specialization as a forest floor and lower canopy inhabitant rather than a sun-dependent climber.

• Water: From above, keep moss damp at all times.
• Humidity: Misting is beneficial.
• Temperature: Min 18°C.
• Dormancy: None, they grow year round.
