SEED - Nepenthes (spathulata x spectabilis) x 'Red Leopard' - Intermediate Tropical Pitcher Plant - 1 Pod Per Packet

This Nepenthes is the hybrid of:

Nepenthes (spathulata x spectabilis) x 'Red Leopard'.

Sowing instructions:

• Sow on top of finely chopped sphagnum, mixed with 50% perlite.
• Keep pot in bright lights to partial sun.
• Once you have sowed the seed place the pot in a zip-lock bag to increase humidity to ensure best germination results.
• A few weeks after germination cut a corner off the bag to lower the humidity a bit, after 2 more weeks cut off the other corner and 2 weeks after that remove the bag.
• Ensure good airflow to prevent mould growing on the surface of the media.
  
• Each pod should have 25+ seeds. 
• Harvested Oct 2025.

*Please be careful when opening the wax paper as they are usually tiny and can be lost easily. Pro tip open over a piece of clean white paper on a flat surface in case any spill.
