Description
Nepenthes alata, native to the Philippines, is known for its high variability and diverse traits, including pitcher shape and colouration. This species makes a great introduction to Nepenthes for beginners, as it is resilient and easy to care for. Its hardiness has led to frequent hybridization with ventricosa, resulting in the incredibly robust 'Ventrata'.
