Drosera micrantha, a pygmy sundew from southwestern Australia, is distinguished by its tiny white flowers. This carnivorous plant reaches about 12mm in diameter with vivid red tentacles. Among pygmy sundews, it stands out for its ease of cultivation, featuring elegant flower stalks and small, subtly red traps that resemble delicate pom-poms.
- Multiple plants in a pot.
- Skill Level: Easy.
- Light: Min 5 hours direct sun, max full sun.
- Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
- Dormancy: In the colder months they reproduce through gemmae (mini plantlets) which can be removed through soft touch. Each one will create a new plant.
- Transplanting: Do not attempt to repot pygmies as they won't survive.
