Drosera macrophylla is a rosetted tuberous sundew that can grow between 8 and 12 cm in diameter. Its leaves feature a prominently raised midrib on the upper surface. Flowering occurs once the rosette is fully mature. Although it may take several years for the plant to reach this size, mature specimens can make remarkable displays of up to 40 flower stalks, each supporting 2 to 8 flowers.
- Skill Level: Medium.
- Light: Min 5 hours direct sun, max full sun.
- Water: From the 1st April, until it dies back to go below ground at the end of Winter, keep the tray full of water.
- Dormancy: These are dormant in Spring and Summer, during this time the pot should remain bone dry, no water at all.
- Pot Size Large 9cm (1L).
