Description
This is a remarkable Venus flytrap cultivar bred by Edgar Koenig, distinguished by its striking crested leaves and vivid red trap coloration. This exceptional cultivar features a unique leaf structure with pronounced crests and an intense red hue inside the traps.
‘Schuppenstiel I’ exhibits upright growth, particularly noticeable during the early months of the growing season. As the season progresses into summer, the leaves gradually bend down towards the pot. The vivid red coloration within the traps enhances the visual appeal of this cultivar, making it a standout choice for any carnivorous plant enthusiast.
