Description
Dionaea muscipula 'Red Piranha' is an officially registered Venus flytrap cultivar renowned for its striking all-red coloration and dramatic appearance. Developed in 1995 by breeders Edward Read and Ivan Snyder in California through selective crossing of a green dentate flytrap with a European red cultivar, combining the ornamental appeal of both.
- Type: Easy.
- Light: Min 3 hours direct sun, max all day.
- Dormancy: Autumn and Winter.
- Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
- Dormancy: Over the colder months leaves get much smaller and older leaves die off.
- Pot Size - 10cm (0.75L).
