SEED - Drosera binata (Travis Wetland, Christchurch) - Forked Sundew - 20+ Per Packet

Drosera binata, commonly known as the forked sundew or fork-leaved sundew. It is a large, perennial sundew. This genetic is specifically from the Travis Wetlands in Christchurch, donated to us by a local botanist to cultivate and save from extinction.

Sowing instructions:

• Sow on top of growing media, either peat of sphagnum can be used.
• Ensure good airflow too prevent mould growing on the surface of the media.
• Keep pot in bright lights to full sun.
• If sowing after spring ensure the pot stays warm (like in the house) through Autumn and Winter to ensure you don't lose your seedling before they establish themselves as plants.
• Keep the pot standing in water at all times so the seed/seedling don't dry out.
• Harvested 2024.

 *Please be careful when opening the wax paper as they are usually tiny and can be lost easily. Pro tip open over a piece of clean white paper on a flat surface in case any spill.
