Drosera callistos is a pygmy sundew distinguished by its striking metallic orange flowers. This species typically reaches about 2cm in diameter. Its flowers, also around 2cm wide, feature a metallic orange hue with a black centre and dark veins visible on the underside of the mostly oval petals. Native to the Darling Scarp region east of Perth, this plant exemplifies unique botanical beauty.
- Multiple plants in a pot.
- Skill Level: Easy.
- Light: Min 5 hours direct sun, max full sun.
- Water: Fill tray, keep in water at all times.
- Dormancy: In the colder months they reproduce through gemmae (mini plantlets) which can be removed through soft touch. Each one will create a new plant.
- Transplanting: Do not attempt to repot pygmies as they won't survive.
