Drosera peltata is found growing in heathland along the east coast of Australia, particularly from Sydney to Victoria. They exhibit a slender stem and crescent-shaped leaves, ranging from olive green to bronze in colour. Height varies greatly, with some plants reaching heights of 30cm (excluding flowers), and they are typically able to support themselves or rely on nearby vegetation for support.
Sowing instructions:
- Sow on top of growing media, either peat of sphagnum can be used.
- Ensure good airflow too prevent mould growing on the surface of the media.
- Keep pot in bright lights to full sun.
- If sowing after spring ensure the pot stays warm (like in the house) through Autumn and Winter to ensure you don't lose your seedling before they establish themselves as plants.
- Keep the pot standing in water at all times so the seed/seedling don't dry out.
- Harvested 2024.
